Spring 2008 community walks Explore the glorious Vale of Glamorgan’s countryside, whilst investing in your health and great company at the same time. These sociable strolls are led by experienced walk leaders, upon a variety of Vale wide walks devised by green charity Valeways. Valeways has re-opened over 200km of previously un-walkable footpaths since its inception in 1996 with the support and sheer hard work of hundreds of volunteers. Explore the Vale’s beautiful countryside whilst investing in your health and great company at the same time. Health walks are of 60-90 minutes duration. Step further walks are longer, from 3-8 miles. Sorry no dogs can be accommodated on these walks. Sensible shoes only. ♥ Step Further Walk. ♥♥ All day walk. Contact the Valeways Office on 01446 749000 for further details.

All those wishing to Make Tracks with Valeways are asked to book in advance. Call Martin Thomas on 07974 834 944.

As always, volunteers meet at the Amelia Trust Farm at 9.30 am. Transport is provided to site, although volunteers can, on arrangement meet the team on site if convenient and practical. All those who go out with the work parties are advised to have a tetanus jab beforehand.
